7/25/11

Last week I picked up a very pretty Sunflower quilt top.  I've worked with RoseMary K. with her sister's Red & White 9 patch a while back.  This time it is her niece's work for her grandmother.  I don't know how old the niece is but she did an excellent job of machine appliqueing the sunflowers on.

OOPS...this is the one before quilting.  I'll get another one.

Saturday a group of ladies got together at our American Legion Hall and made 8 quilts for the kids in the CASA program.  Some ladies didn't quite finish - they just lacked the borders.  A couple took theirs home to quilt for me (whew) and I have 3 here that I'll quilt when I find the time.  Here are a few pictures from Saturday




OK heading back down to the cave to load up another....CYA!

Can't wait to see the quilting on the sunflower quilt. What is the count on the CASA quilts now?
