I'm nervous!!!!  I have this BEAUTIFUL hand appliqued quilt from Mary Helen.  She has given me freedom to do anything I want.  BUT I want it to be special for her!  I've researched some applique quilts on line and see that they are usually heavily quilted.  I'm not so good at echoing and that is the way most of the quilts I saw were done.  =(  I really need to work on echoing.  Oh so here is Mary Helen's

Not a great picture.  But it is LOVELY!  I have it loaded on the machine and waiting on me....to build up my courage ... what about McTavishing?  Anyone think that would look good?  Wish me LUCK
