Back from St. Louie!

Once a year I tend to CUT loose and have a Grand time with my quilty friends from an on-line quilt group.  They are an amazing group of ladies who have so much talent!  We get together to catch up on our sewing, catch up on our laughing and catch up with our HUGS!  Here are some pictures - my friend Sandy took over 300!!!!  I snagged a couple that pertained to me:

Here is our Garden Party Fence (each year we have a theme) this makes for a LOT of fun and games!
As the weekend progressed we got more flowers and more little notes on them!

Every Garden needs a flamingo

A rotary cutter accident!

Sandy helped me lay out my Stonehedge "hot flashes" blocks.

                                                    Our final choice

Vandy adding flowery notes

My husband Bill bought me this Quilter sign...I think I'll put it on my sewing room door

Here are my finished project from the retreat....I tried to make log cabin block but continued to do them wrong...in my defense I was miserable on Saturday with a bad case of allergies!

On Saturday night we had a little fun with our flowery notes.  We had Mother Nature come and read a few notes...we laughed and carried on - it was so much fun to see all our friends join in with the theme.  Everyone made hats or dressed up.  And every garden needs a BEE right?  (that would B me in the bee costume...lol)

This was my chance for Show and Tell -

And now it's another 365 days until the next retreat!
